World Breastfeeding Week

Is this week. Go for the Gold! :o) And give yourself a pat on the back if you've breastfed your babies (or pumped for them), no matter for how long (or short). You rock! Please feel free to share your favorite memories of breastfeeding, too, I'd love to hear your stories. :D

My babies are big kids now, but I remember going into "nursing coma" and falling right asleep with them! Brain chemistry has amazed me ever since. (Nice to "meet" you... I'm enjoying your blog.)

Janelle, nursing coma, lol. Yeah, happens. Good way to get some rest! Glad you're enjoying the blog. :D

Chalice, yay for you! I'm so glad I've been able to breastfeed my kids. I think it makes things a lot less complicated, not having to worry about bottles and stuff. Food's ready whenever it's needed! :o)

My husband's co-worker informed him of WBW last week, and said he was glad because more people need to be aware of how inappropriate it is to breastfeed in public. OMG right?

DH defended us and said that more people need to be AWARE of the benefits of breastfeeding and how very appropriate it actually is! He argued with the guy for a long time - I was so proud!
