This nearly made me cry...

Dave always teases me about being obsessed with carseat safety. I just can't help it, though. And seeing videos like this one really just reinforces my "obsession". I wish people would realize how important it is to restrain children properly.

Comment from Leia:

Ryan and I are both obsessed with seat belt safety. It's good to be
obsessed. I see people drive by every day with kids in the front seat
that are WAY to small, and it makes me cringe. There is not enough
police patrol on those things. The fines should be massive - it's
child endagerment.

You should save that video and post it next time a booster seat
discussion comes up on the board. It may shut some people up.

ITA, it IS child endangerment. Not only should the police patrol more, but I think there should be tighter laws. This kind of discussion has come up numerous times on the March 05 board, as well (only wrt rf vs ff), and people seriously post stuff like it should be their choice, we don't need laws, blah blah blah. Hello! Drives me crazy...

That sucker made me drop $500 on regents for my big kids. Don't tell.

Hope you don't mind me stopping by!

Hi Char! You're welcome to stop by anytime. :o) I'd love to get one of those seats, too, for Tyler. Bryan still fits in a normal 5-point booster. He probably has another year or two left before he outgrows it. And Kaylee is still rear facing in her Roundabout. I think I'd like to go try the Regent first, though, I'm not sure how it would fit in our van. Those things are pretty big!
